and wanted to give my house a big ole giant hug.
i love it here.
and for some reason this morning, i felt embraced by it.
and for some reason this morning, i felt embraced by it.
it looked just like us.
like our life here.
i didn't move a thing.
like our life here.
i didn't move a thing.
i didn't care that the natural light wasn't great.
i just started snapping pics.
the house was quiet.
i could tell drake was still asleep
by the industrial fan in his room that sounds like a tornado,
the scattered instruments in the living room
{i resisted the peer pressure to go out last night, and come to find out they had whole lotta
fun over here while i was upstairs watching an obscene amount of season one episodes of "Friday Night Lights" until the wee hours of morn asleep}
today i am going to run some errands and craft.
i'm going to exercise and practice chords on the guitar.
send some work emails. not turn on the tv. probably turn on the record player.
gonna go to the neighborhood farmers market and
will away
this lingering headache.
will away
this lingering headache.
day three of no make-up and mostly bare feet.
...and be grateful
for
this little bungalow
"that cute house" as its affectionately known
...and be grateful
for
...and be grateful
for
today.
happy wednesday, y'all.
happy wednesday, y'all.

Love this. Love your house. Love your reflection in the mirror as you're taking that picture. And love the face that I know you are probably going to abandon said crafting to continue on with my hero Tammi Taylor.
Yep, Laurel is back and that makes me happy.
Too cute! Missing y'all and Nashville. Hope to visit soon.
