on the second to last day in may.
between the fresh cut hay and the bales we sat on
as the blue skies gave way to a good ole georgia sunset.
it was pallie and andrew's day.
and an epic moment in time that will live
as part of the history of our farm and our home.
but what i loved most of all
about this day, is that it was made up of
a special group of people.
who were honored to be there,
proud to be there
and
loved being there.
strangers and friends
two families.
all one, all the same.
on this day.
people.
smiles and laughter,
dancing and tears.
lots of tears.
people.
sharing and storytelling,
celebrating.
loving each other. loving the moment.
loving pallie and andrew
in their own sweet way.

Beautiful, beautiful poetry. The sentiment and emotion are real and palpable. Thanks, La!
Gosh, just teared up again. What is my deal?! Let's blame the pregnancy hormones! What a day to remember for all of you. The pictures are to die for and really should be in a magazine somewhere.
Gosh, it feels like we have been counting down to "the wedding" for like 10 years... but it did go by so fast all at the same time. I hope that it was everything she hoped it would be! The pictures are beautiful.
