love in a 5 gallon bucket

my mama came to town and like always, she came bearing treats and a good time.

she brought blueberries she'd picked the day before, Georgia Peaches
and
Sunflowers from my Dad
he picked them from his garden & sent them with her to bring to me

they made the 4+ hour trip in a red 5 gallon bucket filled with water

so we all sat on the front porch while my mama arranged them



and we sipped on our favorite
summer afternoon "sweet tea" cocktail





they sure brightened my day and have every day since
and were such a thoughtful treat from mister dock



and they're makin' my front porch smile too
on these sweltering summer days...
