a yabba dabba doo time

Collin & I spent the long weekend in San Diego visiting his very best friend Josh and his gf Alyssa. We made the 3.5 hour road trip which we love....windows down, music blasting, singing like fools, eating junk food, day turns to night, cool october air, beauty of the desert. We both love a cool hotel and get quite geeky when planning a trip to find the coolest boutique hotel...we have experienced many and are sure we found our second favorite in SD, The Ivy.

We had a blast Halloween night, enjoyed walking everywhere & taking in sunny San Diego, ate brunch two days at my new favorite restaurant on earth, The Tractor Room AND caught the Ray Lamontagne show at The Spreckles theater on Saturday.
...an incredible weekend.
